Guide

The PAPI Club Saigon guide

First time at PAPI, or choosing where to spend a weekend night in central Saigon? Below are answers to the questions guests usually ask before they go: what the room looks like, what happens on each night of the week, which table to pick, how to book, what to wear and how to get to 123 Le Loi. It draws on the club's official information and on real photos and videos published by PAPI.

What is PAPI Club Saigon like?

PAPI Club Saigon is an upscale nightclub on Le Loi Boulevard, right in the middle of District 1. The full name is a mouthful, so most people just say PAPI, PAPI Club or PAPI Saigon — however you type it into Google, it is the same club at number 123.

The club opens 22:00 – 04:00 every night, Mondays included, with room for about 300 guests. It is built for people who want to be on their feet from arrival to the end of the night: the dance floor is the centre, DJs play nightly and performances slot in between the sets.

PAPI's look mixes fashion-magazine editorial with a small slice of Las Vegas. The brand colours are vermillion on cream, the “Papi” name is written in a flowing hand script, and two lines — “Every Night. Your Night.” and “Not Your Baby.” — turn up in plenty of corners around the club.

The crowd is varied: people from fashion and entertainment, young entrepreneurs, couples on a night out, groups celebrating birthdays and travellers staying downtown — the club's own photos show plenty of international faces on the floor. Whether you come alone or with a group, it is easy to fall into the room's rhythm.

Inside: Art Deco bones and a ceiling of light panels

In its own introduction, PAPI describes itself as built on Art Deco bones: arches, symmetry and geometry that have held their ground for a century. The designers kept that core, stripped everything else back and let a lighting system layer shadow against light until the room tells its own story.

You see it as soon as you look up. Large square ceiling panels glow amber, printed with curling patterns and lined up along the length of the room. Backlit wall panels in the same motif run down both sides between dark columns and hanging speakers, so from almost anywhere the space reads as one corridor of light leading to the DJ booth.

The booth sits at the head of the floor, its front lit like a block of frosted stone. Some nights the walls around it switch to blue LED strips, other nights the whole room sinks into orange and red; the LED wall and lasers are synced to the music. A backlit “Papi” script glows on one wall, a spot many guests stop at for a photo before heading onto the floor.

The introduction closes with “New meeting old. Always moving. Never settling.” Stand in the middle of the floor and it makes sense: the architecture carries the shape of a century ago, while the light and the music belong entirely to tonight.

Music and DJs every night

The music at PAPI centres on three genres: Hip-hop, EDM and House. Resident DJs play through the week, and Friday and Saturday nights belong to international guest DJs. Themed dancer performances run between the sets, with a live MC at the weekend.

The sound system is the kind built for big performance stages. According to the club, the area closest to the DJ booth is where it sounds best, so if the music is your reason for coming, aim for a standing spot or table on that side. The club's own photos below show how close the crowd gets — guests can stand right at the edge of the decks.

The weekly line-up

Alongside the usual nightly rhythm, some nights at PAPI have names of their own:

Wednesday — Lady Privileges “Not Your Baby”
a night for female guests with their own perks and gifts; details for each round are published on the menu page and official channels.
Thursday — Student Night
special perks for university students — bring a valid student card.
Friday & Saturday — Weekend DJ Show
international guest DJs, themed dancer performances and a live MC.
Every night — Birthday Celebration
a cake brought to the table and a dancer performance for the guest of honour; book 48 hours ahead.

From time to time the club also throws costume nights: one set of official photos shows guests in hair curlers and red silk robes holding a lit “Papi” sign high above the floor. The schedule can change with the season, so check when you book.

Which table should you choose?

PAPI offers five table types, from a counter seat for one to a large sofa for the whole group:

Bar Counter · 1 guest
a seat at the counter, good if you are dropping in alone for the music.
Standing Table · 1–4 guests
a standing table by the floor for small groups who want to be near the crowd.
Premium Sofa · 1–8 guests
a sofa for a mid-sized group, with somewhere to sit between rounds on the floor.
VIP Sofa · 1–10 guests
a larger sofa for bigger groups, with a wide view of the floor.
SVIP Sofa · 1–12 guests
a private sofa area near the DJ booth, suited to birthdays and the largest groups.

The minimum spend for each type is listed on the booking page and may change by night; staff will confirm it when they hold your table. At weekends and on guest DJ nights the sofas tend to go first, so larger groups should book early.

Booking PAPI in three steps

  1. 01Decide on the date, arrival time, number of guests and table type. If it is a special occasion, mention it in the notes.
  2. 02Send the request through the form on the booking or contact page, or call or message on Zalo using the number below. Booking is completely free.
  3. 03The guest team calls or messages you on Zalo to confirm. Tables are kept for roughly half an hour after your booking time; if you expect to be late, message the team so they can hold it.

Opening hours and when to arrive

PAPI is open 22:00 – 04:00, seven nights a week. The club recommends arriving before 23:30 if you want a good spot near the dance floor; after that, especially on Fridays and Saturdays, the floor fills quickly and the places right by the DJ booth are the first to go.

If you are coming on from dinner or another party downtown, the window from opening time to around midnight is the easiest time to get in and choose where to stand.

Getting to 123 Le Loi

Address: 123 Le Loi Boulevard, Ben Thanh Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. The club is on the part of Le Loi that links Ben Thanh Market with the Nguyen Hue walking street, a few steps from the market. By metro, get off at Ben Thanh station and follow Le Loi for around five minutes. Telling the driver “123 Le Loi” or simply “PAPI” is enough.

There is on-site parking for cars and motorbikes. When you leave late, staff can call a car for you rather than you flagging one down on the street. A map and directions button are on the contact page.

What to wear and what to bring

PAPI's dress code is Smart Elegant: polished and refined. Avoid shorts, flip-flops and tank tops; well-dressed guests also get through the door faster.

The club admits guests aged 18 and over only, so bring a photo ID. Inside there is phone charging, wifi, personal lockers and a security team backed by CCTV, so you can leave your things with peace of mind while you dance.

Birthdays and private parties at PAPI

PAPI takes bookings for birthdays, private parties, company events and bachelor or bachelorette nights. For birthdays there is a cake ceremony at the table with a dancer performance, and the SVIP Sofa area by the DJ booth is a popular choice for big groups.

When booking, share the number of guests, arrival time and any special requests, and book at least 48 hours ahead so the club can prepare. The team will suggest a package to fit your group over the hotline or Zalo.
